You might say that designer Nik Bentel has a fetish for making handbags out of boxes, whether it’s from pasta maker Barilla or the US Postal Service. But his greatest creation of all might be for indigestion stans everywhere.
That’s right, Bentel has collaborated on a bag with the GERD GOAT, Tums.
Resembling the fish-mouthed Tums Chewy Bites bottle, the limited-edition hard-shelled bag features a metallic chrome finish and a magnetic closure. The interior is suede Tums-blue, and yes, it can fit a 32-ct bottle inside. There are also two detachable straps, a shorter metal chain or a chrome-leather strap. Either way, it’s fancy.
Of course, it also says Tums.
While the bag sold out on Bentel’s website, you can still snatch one on Amazon. Act quickly, or you’ll be feeling genuine pangs of heartburn, as only 700 of these antacid accessories exist.
